Unidentified Found Objects<\/b><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>Nous sommes en 2030, et depuis quelques mois, \u00e0  Auroville, on retrouve des objets bizarres sortant tout droit du pass\u00e9, une dizaine en tout jusqu\u2019ici. Miraculeusement rep\u00each\u00e9s au fond de vieilles armoires oubli\u00e9es, r\u00e9apparaissant dans les endroits les plus impensables, ils sont soumis \u00e0  des examens scientifiques approfondis avec des r\u00e9sultats surprenants. Les objets \u00e9manent une \u00e9nergie myst\u00e9rieuse. Pourquoi et par qui ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cach\u00e9s reste toutefois incompr\u00e9hensible.<\/p>\n\n<p>Tel est le concept en amont de U.F.O. Unidentified Found Objects, le nouveau travail de Dominique Jacques qui inaugure la saison expositive du Centre d\u2019Art Citadine de Auroville.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cQuand j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 ce projet, il y  \u00e0  peu pr\u00e8s un an, j\u2019ai imagin\u00e9 qu\u2019au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 80, un petit groupe de chercheurs spirituels avait d\u00e9cid\u00e9 en secret de transformer certains objets d\u2019usage courant de cette \u00e9poque, et de les dissimuler \u00e0  des points strat\u00e9giques du territoire, dans le but de prot\u00e9ger et aider l\u2019humanit\u00e9 et les habitants d\u2019Auroville en particulier \u00e0  affronter le difficult\u00e9s croissantes du futur, apr\u00e8s avoir modifi\u00e9 leur onde de forme pour en intensifier la vibration positive, et les avoir charg\u00e9s d\u2019un pouvoir sp\u00e9cifique.\u201d&#13;\nLes objets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis pour leurs qualit\u00e9s formelles et leur signification symbolique.&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>L\u2019exposition s\u2019articule donc autour de la d\u00e9couverte des 10 objets \u201cmagiques\u201d. Un ventilateur, une carafe, un transformateur, chaque objet est d\u00e9mont\u00e9 et reconstruit par l\u2019artiste de mani\u00e8re onirique et surr\u00e9aliste. On peut voir des bouts de lampadaire pousser sur le dos d\u2019un vieux t\u00e9l\u00e9phone \u00e0  cadran, une machine \u00e0  \u00e9crire produire des radiographies color\u00e9es, un microscope \u00e9merger d\u2019une structure fossile portant des dessins \u00e9sot\u00e9riques. 10 objets obsol\u00e8tes reprennent vie, nous parlent de pass\u00e9 et de futur, jouent avec notre fantaisie et nos souvenirs, et nous portent \u00e0  r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur la relation que nous avons avec les \u201cchoses\u201d qui nous entourent et sur ce que celles-ci racontent de nous. <\/p>\n\n<p>Mais la recherche de l\u2019artiste ne s\u2019arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0 . Dix toiles dialoguent avec les objets retrouv\u00e9s et en expriment l\u2019essence occulte. Les toiles sont grandes, puissantes, connect\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re \u00e9vidente avec l\u2019objet qu\u2019elles repr\u00e9sentent, comme en une sorte de balayage num\u00e9rique qui compl\u00e8te la vision des \u201ccarcasses\u201d, r\u00e9v\u00e9lant leur merveille cach\u00e9e. Comme si les toiles offraient une vision des objets de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, filtr\u00e9e par un regard d\u2019un genre nouveau capable d\u2019en assimiler et comprendre le pouvoir.<\/p>\n\n<p>L\u2019exposition se conclut  avec une s\u00e9rie de documents qui illustrent le projet dans son aspect de fiction ludique. Une vieille carte d\u2019Auroville sur laquelle sont signal\u00e9s les sites o\u00f9 les objets ont \u00e9t\u00e9 dissimul\u00e9s, une installation mettant en sc\u00e8ne les \u00e9quipements des arch\u00e9ologues du futur, des documents photographiques et audiovisuels montrant les auteurs des d\u00e9couvertes.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201c Le plus int\u00e9ressant-conclut l\u2019artiste- a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&rsquo;interaction avec les gens qui interpr\u00e8tent les d\u00e9couvreurs des objets, la fa\u00e7on dont ils se sont impliqu\u00e9s dans le r\u00e9cit. Les histoires qu\u2019ils racontent, regroup\u00e9es dans une des vid\u00e9os de l\u2019exposition, sont fruit de leur fantaisie.
