{"id":4480,"date":"2023-03-14T05:52:03","date_gmt":"2023-03-14T05:52:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/centredart.in\/?post_type=project&#038;p=4480"},"modified":"2023-03-14T06:13:20","modified_gmt":"2023-03-14T06:13:20","slug":"racines-du-ciel-%e2%b5%a3","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/centredart.in\/fr\/project\/racines-du-ciel-%e2%b5%a3\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Racines du Ciel \u2d63<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>par Cedric Bregnard<\/strong><\/h1>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Du 18 au 25 mars 2023<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lundi au Samedi de 14h30 \u00e0 17h30<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><Vernissage samedi 18 mars de 14h30 \u00e0 17h30<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/centredart.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/2303_ROOTS_2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4474\" srcset=\"http:\/\/centredart.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/2303_ROOTS_2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/centredart.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/2303_ROOTS_2-980x735.jpg 980w, http:\/\/centredart.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/2303_ROOTS_2-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Centre d\u2019Art, lundi, trois heures de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Une quinzaine de personnes s\u2019active sur la photographie du banyan d\u2019Auroville qui s\u2019\u00e9tale sur sept m\u00e8tres de long devant la grande baie vitr\u00e9e.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Certaines sont assises \u00e0 m\u00eame le sol, d\u2019autres debout, d\u2019autres encore sont mont\u00e9es sur des chaises.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>La performance Roots from the Sky \u2d63 a commenc\u00e9 seulement le matin et le r\u00e9sultat est d\u00e9j\u00e0 saisissant.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Sur l\u2019immense image imprim\u00e9e dans des tons de gris tr\u00e8s l\u00e9ger, les intervenants redessinent les volumes, du noir \u00e0  la lumi\u00e8re, faisant r\u00e9apparaitre l\u2019arbre \u00e0  peine perceptible.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>L\u2019artiste auteur de la performance, Cedric Bregnard, a mis \u00e0 leur disposition de pr\u00e9cieux pinceaux-feutres de calligraphie qui permettent de varier le trait pour interpr\u00e9ter les ombres plus \u00e9paisses des troncs jusqu\u2019aux d\u00e9tails les plus fins, comme les nervures des feuilles.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Pour r\u00e9aliser la monumentale composition Cedric a pris, au petit matin quand la lumi\u00e8re encore voil\u00e9e att\u00e9nue les contrastes, de nombreux clich\u00e9s de cet arbre aussi vaste qu\u2019une for\u00eat.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>C\u2019est la juxtaposition de ces clich\u00e9s qui a permis de recr\u00e9er dans sa totalit\u00e9 l\u2019image de l\u2019arbre de plus de trente m\u00e8tres d\u2019envergure qui sert de support pour la performance.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Il a ensuite agrandi des \u00e9l\u00e9ments comme certains troncs et les a suspendus dans la galerie, les faisant descendre du plafond comme les piliers d\u2019un temple.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Plusieurs \u00e9coles vont emporter ces photographies pour faire la performance parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 celle de la galerie dans leurs propres locaux, avec leurs \u00e9l\u00e8ves. &nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Une fois achev\u00e9es elles rejoindront la galerie pour l\u2019ouverture de l\u2019exposition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Au fil des jours les dessinateurs se succ\u00e8dent et peu \u00e0 peu relient les troncs, les branches et les racines.  Ensemble, chacun avec son propre trait, imp\u00e9tueux ou retenu, appuy\u00e9 ou l\u00e9ger, ils \u0153uvrent \u00e0  donner au grand banyan une nouvelle dimension. Certains restent quelques minutes, d\u2019autres oublient les heures, mais pour tous l\u2019exp\u00e9rience est de pur bonheur. Ils avouent entrer dans une sorte de transe, envo\u00fbt\u00e9s par le mouvement de la main.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>C\u2019est une exp\u00e9rience chorale o\u00f9 Cedric intervient en filigrane, donnant parfois des conseils ou des encouragements.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir donn\u00e9 naissance a quarante-quatre performances, pour lui l\u2019\u00e9motion est toujours nouvelle.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Il se souvient encore de la premi\u00e8re d\u2019entre elles, au cours de laquelle \u00e9tait n\u00e9e spontan\u00e9ment une forme d\u2019art total. Des danseurs, des po\u00e8tes, des musiciens \u00e9taient intervenus.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Au Centre d\u2019Art la magie a d\u00e9j\u00e0 op\u00e9r\u00e9. Plusieurs musiciens sont venus improviser de petits concerts, et les sons de leurs instruments semblaient le souffle de l\u2019arbre m\u00eame.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>C\u2019est une forme d\u2019art nouvelle, intrins\u00e8quement m\u00eal\u00e9e \u00e0 la vie, qu\u2019apporte aujourd\u2019hui Cedric Bregnard \u00e0  Auroville. Un art d\u00e9finitivement sorti de l\u2019atelier, qui s\u2019adresse \u00e0  chacun de nous pour nous remettre en contact avec notre potentiel cr\u00e9ateur.
