THERE AND BACK AGAIN
The Panthers

Welcome to our photo exhibition in Centre d’Art from Wednesday 15 to Saturday 18 April 2026.
We are the Panthers, and there are fourteen of us in the 8th grade of Transition School. For our final year, we wanted to go on a long field trip.
From Tuesday 17 to Friday 20 February, we went to Masinagudi in the buffer zone of Mudumalai National Park. There were three adults accompanying us: Clare, our teacher, and two others, Kripa and Luk. We chose to go to Masinagudi because of its forests and wildlife. The 14-hour bus ride was part of the fun – mostly. We stayed at Babu’s Home Style Cottage, where we had the whole place to ourselves. The kind hospitality of the team there really made us feel at home. On our last evening, we met Daniel, a local ornithologist and naturalist. He gave a talk on the wildlife there and answered all our questions.
During this trip, we experienced many great things, such as seeing wild animals and learning how the forest rangers take care of the animals, both wild and trained.
Thank you, Kripa, for the amazing photos! When we saw them, we had the idea of making an exhibition of the photos, along with our research and writing. We would also like to thank Tixon and the Nirami team for their help
